A trip to Disneyland in 2008 awakened the seed of inspiration for The Good Apple. The sweet aroma of caramel drew me to the bake shops of Main Street. Rows of divine caramel apples lined the display cases, decorated to evoke fantasy. Specialities like this weren't available back home on Maui. So when I returned to the island, I carried this experience with me and got to work on candy making. As I shared my new creations of gourmet caramel apples, they quickly became a favorite amongst my family and friends. The demand grew and eventually The Good Apple came to fruition.
The Good Apple is equal parts flair and flavor; joy and quality; new inspirations and classics from days gone by; meant to sweeten any moment or served up as a shared memory or gift. I love the connection of flavor to the sense of youth at any age, fantasy and imagination. And let's face it, we all love a good dessert. I hope you enjoy the care and fun lovingly crafted into each and every Good Apple.
